KEMNET is a communications network that is solely interested in the pursuit of the “African Dream.” It is our hope that by presenting to you (the youth of Africa) a platform where you can voice your opinion on issues that affect us here on this black continent; we will bring about a positive change.

We here at KEMNET believe strongly in the power of youth. We strongly hope that by voicing our opinions we will spark the minds of young Africans to rise up and pursue their goals or aspirations. It is time that we change the African narrative, which we all know and by now, all believe in.

The narrative of an inferior race which is quick to lose its culture and values in pursuit of foreign ways and methods, a narrative which paints us as lazy, self loathing and highly unintelligent. KEMNET seeks to bring back self love and pride in all that is African. To say to the youth that, “You are black and you are proud, say it LOUD!!!.”

We are the generation that will bring about change. We are the generation that Steve Biko and Martin Luther Jr dreamt of; we will make the world sit up and take notice. We will change the meaning of what it is to be black, from the popular misconception of “lazy, dumb and ignorant” to “intelligent, resourceful and proud.”

Kasi Corner Talks is a podcast that is presented to you by KEMNET and powered by SELIBENG.COM and JustSlick23.com. We take ordinary Africans who are seeking positivity in any way and interview them for a maximum time of 14 minutes. The podcast will be presented to you weekly and it will cover various topics ranging from political, social and economical.

The podcast itself will try by all means to be as raw as possible, so expect the REAL.
