The Ministry of Education and Training intends to deliver learning materials (Sesotho Literacy Kits, Sesotho Readers, Science Equipment and Wall Charts) to 332 schools under FPE, LEQEP and LBEIP projects. It is estimated that the exercise will be carried out within a period of 30 days from 7th December 2020 to 22nd January 2021, and 35 long base single cab vehicles are required to undertake the assignment. Now the ministry invites interested individual or company vehicles owners to register the vehicles as stipulated below:
The vehicles must meet the following criteria:
- Vehicles must be roadworthy
- Tyres must be on good condition
- Certificate of Registration or Blue card
- 4*4 long base Single Cab
- Valid Insurance Certificate
- Valid B Permit
- Fire extinguisher
- Tools
- Triangle by 2
- Spare wheel
- Mileage should range from 0 to 30,000 kilometres
- Canopy/Canvas (Not tonneau cover)/ rack Tent
- Inspection will be done at EFU Office on the same day
- Copy of certified ID Card for individual
- Copy of certified trader’s licence, tax clearance for company
The registration and inspection of vehicles will be held at Procurement Unit, EFU Building, Site 130 Fokothi, Off Moshoeshoe Road on 19th November 2020 at 0900hrs to 1630hrs
Note:
If more than 35 vehicles meet the above minimum qualifying criteria, the mileage will be the determining selection factor amongst such vehicles.
Only one vehicle will be considered for individual or company vehicle.
