EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & RELATED EXPERIENCE
• Qualified Electrician with Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Strong installation and industrial background
• Relevant electrical experience in the process plant / mining environment
• Good general knowledge of electrical equipment up to 11 kv
• Hands-on experience in utilising planned maintenance systems and be conversant with different types of maintenance
• Must have basic instrumentation / automation / PLC and SCADA knowledge
• Must have basic mechanical knowledge
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Perform general plant maintenance duties
• Assess and correct malfunctions in good time, without further damage to equipment
• Perform planned maintenance according to standards and procedures within allocated time and budget
• Perform preventive maintenance on continual basis
• Identify and implement electrical improvement
