First Financial Bank is growing, and we are in need of a highly motived individual for a Commercial Loan Officer role ! The Vet Division has 4 different marketing campaigns underway for 2020, as well multiple speaking arrangements lined up to present at several national industry conferences – it is an exciting time to be on the FFB Vet lending team!
The primary responsibility of this position is sales, providing loans to those looking to start/acquire/expand in the veterinary industry through interaction with borrowers and other referral sources while ensuring loans are in compliance with financial institution policies. This position will be developing new business relationships, covering half of the country working with entrepreneurial customers and a committed team of colleagues.
This position will be provided with a laptop, cell phone, and company credit card. Mileage reimbursement applies per the company rates on work related drives to airports, conferences, etc. This position will work from home and will require travel 40-50% of the time, including some weekends.
Base salary for this position is $60k annually plus commissions.
Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, finance or veterinary fields. Experience in sales, the vet industry, or lending or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Skills and Abilities: Must be self-driven, committed, coachable and aware. Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. High emotional intelligence preferred. Ability to leverage and influence effectively, as well as think creatively and quickly.
